Spoon Carving Workshop – Online

Sign up for this workshop and learn the techniques necessary to turn a log into a spoon. Matt will guide you through a systematic process that will give you a solid foundation for your future spoon carving endeavors.

With a limited class size, there will be plenty of time for participants to ask questions.

Some topics we will cover:

• Splitting a log
• Safe axing techniques
• Axing a billet into a spoon blank
• Useful knife grips for carving
• Carving a blank into a spoon
• How to use a hook knife
• Finishing

The class will be recorded and will be sent to the participants after the class it completed.
